Stormy is a dog with a big nose and a natural retrieve. While in the field she is the type of dog to go 100 mph and instantaneously stop to stick her point hard. She’s had very little training and has easily proven her natural abilities. She’s a very cooperative dog and very eager to please. She is very compassionate with people and loves to give hugs!

Honker is an extremely nice, young dog. We started guiding with him at four months old in Texas and he would find, point and retrieve birds with determination and style. Honker is everything we were looking for in that breeding–a truly versatile dog. He trains as well as any retriever we have trained. His intensity while training is unparalleled. At seven months old Honker was successfully completing complex doubles. He is steady from a very young age. He keeps the trainer on his toes by nailing every task with ease and then returning as if to say “what’s next?” Playing Stump Your Dog is often played with Honker and he typically comes out a winner.
Honker is everything we look for in a German Shorthair. He has an extremely high degree of trainability and natural ability. Honker is the future of Willow Creek.
